Sugar Free Easter Treats

Easter is one of my favorite times of year. I am a complete chocolate fiend! My favorite easter egg is the humpty dumpties and Cadbury creme eggs. Mmmmmmmmmm! Being pregnant with gestational diabetes makes Easter time even more of a tease. So I have put together a list of yummy sugar-free Easter treats that you can make at home for a healthier easter option that is still indulgent.

Paleo Peppermint Patties

Elana’s Pantry is one of my all-time favorite healthy food blogs.

If you’ve been wondering how to make homemade Peppermint Patties this is the recipe for you! With only 4 ingredients, all you need to make this healthy Peppermint Patty recipe is coconut oil, dark chocolate, honey, and peppermint extract.

We make this healthy paleo dessert recipe all year round, but especially enjoy it on Easter. Get her recipe here:

Paleo Thin Mints

Being Australian I LOVE a good mint slice! Living in the United States they do not exist! I used to make these Paleo Thin Mints when I was back home as a healthy alternative. But now it is even more of a necessity for me to get my minty chocolate fix!

Chocolate Coconut paleo easter eggs.

Who doesn’t love a good Bounty bar! Oh right they are not here in the states either. But you do have almond joys, close but not the same! Here is a healthy version of the good old coconut chocolate egg!
